Dr. Ellabban is an experienced consultant ophthalmologist with a subspeciality interest in Cataract surgery and Retinal diseases at Hull University Teaching Hospitals, UK. Dr. Ellabban specializes in cataract surgery and has performed over 10,000 cataract surgeries. He uses the latest technology in surgery and offers premium lens implants. He is also experienced in managing cataracts in challenging situations or combined with other procedures. Dr. Ellabban is renowned for his expertise in ...retinal surgery and offers state-of-the-art vitrectomy surgery for a wide range of retinal disorders, including floaters, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, and vitreomacular traction. He also provides eye injection treatment for retinal disorders, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusion. Dr. Ellabban was trained across Japan, the UK, and Egypt. He completed a Master’s degree in ophthalmology at the Suez Canal University, Egypt. Then, he moved to Japan and completed a PhD at the world-renowned Kyoto University (Japan), focusing on macular diseases. After relocating to the UK, he completed two training fellowships on retinal surgery. Then, he was appointed as a consultant cataract and retinal surgeon at Hull University Teaching Hospitals.
