Dr. Pieternella Lugtenburg has been a staff hematologist at Erasmus MC Cancer Institute, University Medical Center, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, since 1992. She has been associated with the Erasmus University Rotterdam since 1979, when she started as a student-teacher in the Department of Anatomy. Dr. Lugtenburg has a medical degree, cum laude, from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and board certifications in Internal Medicine and Hematology.
