Dr. Eugen Hinterbuchner

Dr. Eugen Hinterbuchner is a highly experienced and board-certified neurologist with expertise in a wide range of neurological conditions. He has nearly 40 years of experience in the field, starting as a house officer in the Department of Neurology at St. Anne’s Medical School in Brno, Czechia from 1981 to 1984. After completing his MD from Charles University Prague, 3rd Medical School in 1976, Dr. Hinterbuchner went on to earn board certifications in neurology in 1982 (1st level) and 1992 (2...nd level) and in myoskeletal practice in 1990. He has since held various positions in the Czech Republic, including consulting neurologist roles at Medicover (First Medical Clinic), Prague, from 1999 to 2005; Durpekt’s Surgery for Orthopaedics, Brno, from 1993 to 1999; and Canadian Medical Care Prague / District Policlinic Prague 8 / Euromed Prague Outpatient care, Prague, from 2005 to 2018. Dr. Hinterbuchner’s most recent role is as a consulting neurologist at NEURONIKA Prague Outpatient Care, which he has held since 2019. He is also an expert in various neurological conditions, including headache, stroke, post-head injury and whiplash syndrome, general neurology, and medico-legal experience. In addition to his work experience, Dr. Hinterbuchner is affiliated with several organizations, including the Czech Neurological Association, the Czech Association on Hypertension, the Czech Association on Allergy and Immunology, and the New York Academy of Sciences.
