He has held various positions in the field, including Head of the Department of Neurology at the Alexianer St. Joseph Hospital in Berlin-Weißensee since 2007, Consultant in Neurology/Psychiatry at the same hospital from 2008 to 2013, and University Lecturer, Senior Physician, Specialist, and Consultant in Neurology, Psychiatry & Psychotherapy at the Ruhr ...University Bochum from 1992 to 2007. Dr. Mueller obtained his MD from the Ruhr University Bochum, Ulm University, and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 1987. He also completed a PhD at the Technical University of Munich, with his dissertation focusing on the comparison of the analgesic effects of Tramadol and Tilidine in a placebo-controlled double study.
