Biography

Dr. Bassem Razzouk studied medicine at the American University of Beirut, where he also passed his residency program in Pediatrics. Then Dr. Razzouk moved to the United States, where he completed a residency in Pediatrics at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse and a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Later Dr. Razzouk became an Assistant and then an Associate Member of the Department of Hematology/Oncology, Directo...r of the Middle East Programs and International Outreach Program, and Medical Director of the Telemedicine Program at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He is currently the Medical Director at the Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases of Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent. Besides his clinical work, Dr. Razzouk is engaged in academics. He is a Professor at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine and an Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine. For his outstanding work, Dr. Razzouk received numerous awards, which include being acknowledged as a Top Doctor in America for the years 2011-2013. Dr. Razzouk has more than 130 publications, including original articles, abstracts, and book chapters.
