Dr. Madona Sakkal

Dr. Madona Sakkal is a dermatologist with a special focus on Dermato-oncology and Dermatologic Surgery who has been working at the Gustave Roussy Hospital in Paris, France, since 2018. In 2018, she became the Head of the Clinic in dermatology and venereology, surgery, and once-dermatological consultations. Prior to working at Gustave Roussy, she was an intern in Dermato-oncology at Ambroise Pare Hospital and in surgical dermatology at Henri-Mondor University Hospital, both in Paris. She also completed dermatology and internal medicine fellowships at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center in Beirut, Lebanon, from 2014-2017 and 2011-2014, respectively.

Dr. Sakkal's education includes a European Research Diploma in Translational Skin Cancer from Paris-Sud University in 2020, a University Diploma in Clinical Oncology from Paris-Sud University in 2020, a Diploma of Specialised Medical Training in Dermatology and Venerology from Paris City University in 2019, a Master I in Initiation to Research from Paris Descartes University in 2019, an Interuniversity Degree (DIU) in Advanced Surgical Dermatology from the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines in 2019, and an MD from the University of Balamand in 2011.

Dr. Sakkal has also been involved in various affiliations throughout her career, including serving as the president of a campaign for the screening of dermatological diseases and a founding member of the volunteer organization "Street Medicine Beirut" from 2016-2017. She was also a member of the Society of Medical Students at the University of Balamand from 2008-2011 and participated in volunteer health campaigns in Lebanon organized by Saint Georges Hospital from 2008-2010. She was also the president of the Society of Biology Students at the University of Balamand from 2004-2007.

Dr. Sakkal has authored more than 10 publications in her field.
