Dr. Louis Dubertret is an esteemed Professor Emeritus of Dermatology at Saint-Louis Hospital and a Founder and Honorary Director of the Skin Research Institute at the University Paris 7 in France. With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Dubertret has been recognized globally for his significant contributions to the field of dermatology. He has held several prestigious positions throughout his career, including as the Chairman of the Dermatology Department at Saint-Louis Hospital, Paris, from 1989 ...to 2009. He also served as the President of the board of the European Dermatology Forum in 2006 and as the Founder and President of the board of the “Centre Sabouraud” for hair diseases. Dr. Dubertret is a renowned academic and researcher, with a particular interest in the management of chronic skin diseases, skin cancer, and wound healing. He has authored numerous publications and books, with over 450 international publications to his name. Dr. Dubertret has received several accolades and awards throughout his career, including the Galien Award in 1989 for his work on Psoralens and the Claude Bernard Award in the same year for his research on Skin Organogenesis in vitro. In 2009, he received the ILDS Award, followed by the Rammal Award in 2010, the Pro Meritus EDF Award in 2011, and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Clinical Award in 2013. Dr. Dubertret has also been actively involved in various organizations and committees, including serving as the Founder and President of the Rene Touraine International Foundation and as the Vice President of the 2002 World Congress in Paris. He is a Founding Member of the French Academy of Technologies and served as the past President of the Ethical Committee.
