Dr. Markus Heppt

Dr. Markus Heppt is a highly qualified dermatologist, with extensive experience in the field of dermatology, dermatopathology, and medical oncology. He obtained his MD from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, and subsequently completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Clinical Research at Dresden International University, as well as a Master of Health Business Administration (MHBA) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Dr. Heppt's career began in Munich, where he completed his reside...ncy program in the Department of Dermatology and Allergy at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. He then served as Chief Resident at the same institution before taking up the position of Attending Dermatologist at the University Hospital Erlangen, where he is currently based. Dr. Heppt has a particular interest in melanoma and skin neoplasms and is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions. He also has additional designations in allergy and clinical immunology. Dr. Heppt is the Head of the Committee for Uveal Melanoma of the German Dermatologic Cooperative Oncology Group (DeCOG). Dr. Heppt's research work has been recognized with several awards, including the Publication award from La Fondation La Roche-Posay, the Award for Best Poster Presentation from the Working Group Dermatological Oncology (ADO), and the Award for Best Oral Presentation from the Working Group Dermatological Histology. He has published more than 150 research papers.
