Dr. Gorazd Bernard Stokin is an experienced neurologist with various professional affiliations and work experience in multiple locations, such as the USA, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic. He is a Senior Neurology Consultant at the Department of Vascular Neurology and Neurological Intensive Therapy, Division of Neurology, University Medical Center, Ljubljana, Slovenia, and a Research Affiliate at the Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale, and Rochester, USA. Dr. Stokin also serves as a Research Group Leader at the Translational Neuroscience and Aging Program, Centre for Translational Medicine, International Clinical Research Center, St. Anne’s University Hospital, Brno, Czech Republic, and Chair of the International Clinical Research Center at the same hospital.
Dr. Stokin has professional licenses in neurology from the General Medical Council in London, UK, and the Medical Chamber of Slovenia in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has expertise in behavioral and cognitive neurology, with a focus on cognitive testing. Dr. Stokin has affiliations with various professional organizations such as the American Academy of Neurology, Slovene Neuroscience Association, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Slovenian Chapter of the European Confederation of Neuropathological Societies, Alzheimer's Association, European Academy of Neurology, and Society for Neuroscience.
