Dr. Christian Denzer is a specialist in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. He completed his medical studies at Philipps-University Marburg in Germany, and his Doctoral thesis was on the subject of "Obesity in Childhood and Adolescence: Profile of a large-scale Obesity Outpatient Clinic." For nearly 20 years, Dr. Denzer has held positions at the Department of Pediatrics of Ulm University.
Dr. Denzer participated in the development of an interdisciplinary endocrine follow-up program for childhood cancer survivors at the Department of Pediatrics of Ulm University. He was the Head of the German evidence-based guideline (S3) "Endocrine follow-up care for childhood cancer survivors." Dr. Denzer is a Co-author of “Fertility Preservation for Patients with Malignant Disease. Guideline of the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics (DGGG), the German Society of Urology (DGU), and the German Society of Legal Medicine (DGRM).” He is a Mandate holder of the German Association for Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes (DGKED e.V.) in the guideline project "Thyroid cancer."
