Dr. Milena Dokoupilova

Dr. Milena Dokoupilova is a highly experienced neonatologist who has been working in the field for over 30 years. She completed her medical degree at Charles University in Prague in 1993, after which she joined the Neonatal Department at the university. During her time there, she focused on developing non-invasive ventilation methods to support extremely premature newborns and stabilize them in the delivery room. In 2011, Dr. Dokoupilova moved to the Perinatal Intermediary Neonatal Centre at ...Horovice Private Hospital, where she was appointed Chief of the Neonatology Department with Intermediary Care. Under her leadership, the Neonatal Department at Horovice was granted the status of a Perinatological Center of Intermediate Care in 2014 with the possibility of providing care to newborns as early as the 31st week of pregnancy. Throughout her career, Dr. Dokoupilova has also been actively involved in the education of Czech and foreign doctors, both pre- and post-graduation. She has participated in numerous research projects and has authored over 40 publications in the field of neonatology.
