Biography

Dr. Daniele De Luca is a highly accomplished medical professional with extensive training and experience in pediatrics and neonatal critical care. He received his MD from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Italy and has several post-graduation diplomas and a PhD in Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology. He is currently the Chief of the Division of Pediatrics, Transportation, and Neonatal Critical Care at South Paris University, “A.Beclere” Medical Centre in France and holds a F...ull Professorship in Neonatology at Paris Saclay University. Dr. De Luca is a recognized expert in his field and has authored and co-authored more than 100 publications, with a particular interest in pulmonology research. He has received numerous awards for his research work, including the Bengt Robertson Award, European Young Investigator Award, and National Prize for Neonatal Research. He is also the Editor of the European Journal of Pediatrics, Springer-Verlag. In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. De Luca is actively involved in several professional organizations. He is the current President of the European Society for Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (ESPNIC) and has served as a Temporary Advisor to the World Health Organization. He is also the President of the Association for the Development and Research in Neonatology (ADRN), Vice-President of the Association of Italian Medicines in Paris (AMIP), and a member of the Vatican-Lancet Commission on the Value of Life.
