Biography
Dr. Marcovalerio Melis received his medical degree from the School of Medicine of the University of Cagliari. He also completed various postdoctoral training programs, including a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center from 2006-2008, a Surgery Residency at the University of Chicago from 2001-2006, and a Surgery Residency at the University of Cagliari from 1994-1999. Dr. Melis's faculty academic appointments began in 2008 at NYU Langone Health as an Assistant Professor of Surge
