Biography

Dr. Marcin Czyz is a highly accomplished medical professional with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wroclaw Medical University in 2006. He began his career as a Neurosurgical Trainee at Wroclaw University Hospital in Poland, where he underwent comprehensive neurosurgical training. In 2014, he took on the role of a Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery at Hurstwood Park Neurosciences Centre, Brighton, focusing on general neurosurgery. Later, Dr. Czyz served as a Senior Spine Fellow at Queen's Medical C...entre, Nottingham. During this period, he specialized in complex spine fellowships and received accreditation from the Royal College of Surgeons. In 2019, Dr. Czyz's career took a significant step as he became a Consultant Spine Neurosurgeon at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. Here, he exhibited a keen interest in spinal oncology and made notable contributions to the field. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, in 2019, he was appointed as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer in Oncology and Genetics at the University of Birmingham.
