Dr. Ulrich Karck

Dr. Ulrich Karck is a specialist in Gynecological Oncology. He performs all types of surgical procedures with regard to endometriosis, fibroids, cervical cancer, cancer of the uterus and ovarian cancer, as well as cancer of the vulva. He is also responsible for breast cancer patients with oncoplastic surgery of the breast. Any necessary systemic therapy is decided by him (chemotherapy, antibody treatment, etc.).

Dr. Karck is currently the Director of Stuttgart Women’s Hospital, Stuttgart Germany. It is one of the largest women's hospitals in southwest Germany and Tertiary Reference Center and Teaching Hospital, Perinatal center level I (highest level). He is also the Head of a certified Gynecological cancer center and certified Breast center.

Since 1994 Dr. Karck has been a consultant for obstetrics and gynecology at the Freiburg University Women’s Hospital, specializing in endocrinology and minimally invasive surgery. From March 1999 to March 2003, Dr. Karck was a Deputy Director of the Women’s Hospital Freiburg.

Dr. Karck's scientific work is in the field of cell-cell communication and pathophysiological processes in endocrinology-reproductive medicine and oncology. He is the main investigator in several clinical studies in endocrinology and oncology.
