Dr. Ronald Karnik is a specialist in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Angiology, and Intensive Care Medicine. He studied medicine at the University of Vienna in Austria and then completed training as a specialist in internal medicine with additional subjects of cardiology, intensive care medicine, and angiology. Later Dr. Karnik founded Interventional Team Confraternity (ITC) Vienna, where his clinical focus is on Interventions in the coronary, peripheral, and cerebral vessels, acute interventions in cerebrovascular and cardiac events, and intensive care of cerebrovascular emergencies.
Dr. Karnik authored and co-authored more than 90 publications. His scientific focus lies on cerebral hemodynamics.
