Dr. Florian H. Hartmann

Dr. Florian H. Hartmann is an accomplished urologist who has held several positions in the field. He received his MD from the University of Vienna and Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf. Dr. Hartmann's clinical interests include minimally invasive and robotic surgery, urooncological surgery, prostate cancer, minimally-invasive stone therapy, and endourology.

Dr. Hartmann's professional experience includes serving as the Head Attending of the Department of Urology at the University of Cologne since 2020 and the Head of the Division of Robotic Urology of the Department of Urology at the University of Cologne since 2018. Prior to that, he was the Head Urologist at the Uroviva Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland, and the Deputy Director of the Department of Urology at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. He also served as the Head Kidney-Explant Surgeon for the German Foundation for Organ Transplantation in Thuringia and held positions as an attending urologist and head attending at various university hospitals in Germany.

Dr. Hartmann's affiliations include the German Society for Urology, the European Association of Urology, the German Society for Robot-assisted Urology, the German Transplantation Society, and the German Society for Sports Medicine. He has also authored more than five publications. In addition to his medical education, Dr. Hartmann holds a Master of Health Business Administration (MHBA) from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
