Biography

In 1989, Dr. Shah-Naz Khan obtained her MBBS degree from Rawalpindi Medical College, affiliated with the University of The Punjab in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. Dr. Khan's academic and administrative appointments include serving as the Chairperson and President of the Institute of General and Endovascular Neurosurgery in Flint, MI, since 2014 and as the Director of the same institute. Additionally, she has been a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Michigan State Un...iversity's College of Human Medicine in Flint. Dr. Khan's previous leadership roles include having been appointed as the Director of Endovascular Neurosurgery at the Insight Institute of Neuroscience and Neurosurgery and the Director of Endovascular Neurosurgery and Stroke Intervention at Saint Francis Hospital. Dr. Khan has also been actively involved in various professional societies. She is a senior member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery and a member of the Michigan State Medical Society. She is also a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the Frank H. Mayfield Society.
