Dr. Saurabh Phadnis is a highly qualified and experienced medical professional in the field of Gynaecological Oncology. He completed his M.B.B.S. degree from the University of Mumbai in 2000. Since then, he has undergone extensive clinical training and has held various appointments in prestigious healthcare institutions. From 2002 to 2003, Dr. Phadnis served as a Senior House Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Warrington District General Hospital in Warrington. He then moved to Watford ...General Hospital in Watford, where he worked as a Senior House Officer from 2003 to 2004. Continuing his professional development, Dr. Phadnis held the position of Trust Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Watford General Hospital from 2004 to 2006. He further advanced his career as a Clinical Research Fellow in Colposcopy at the Royal Free Hospital in London from 2006 to 2007. In 2007, Dr. Phadnis began his role as a Clinical Research Fellow in Colposcopy/HIV Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital in London. He continued in this position until 2010. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Phadnis embarked on a Travelling Fellowship at Essen-Mitte Clinic in 2018. Since 2018, Dr. Phadnis has been serving as a Consultant in Gynecological Oncology at Barts Health NHS Trust, Royal London Hospital. In this role, he specializes in ultraradical cytoreduction surgery for advanced-stage ovarian cancer and pelvic exenteration. The hospital is a renowned tertiary referral center for gynecological malignancies handling approximately 450 newly diagnosed patients each year. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Phadnis has made significant contributions to the field through his research and publications. He has been recognized with awards such as the Best Clinical Audit at Luton and Dunstable University Foundation NHS Trust in 2011 and the Prof. Harold zur Hausen Award for Best Proffered Poster at the 4th Biennial Meeting of the Asia Oceania Research Organisation on Genital Infection and Neoplasia in 2010.
