Biography

Dr. Grigorian is a cardiologist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and research. She currently holds multiple positions, including being a faculty member of the Section of Interventional Cardiology at San Rafael Hospital and Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital in Madrid, Spain, a principal investigator at the Institute of Health Research Gregorio Marañón, and the president and co-founder of the AMADeA Medical Association. In addition, she has held various roles in scien...tific organizations, such as being a former representative of the Nucleus of the Working Group on Cardiovascular Regenerative and Reparative Medicine for the European Society of Cardiology and a former member of the NextGen Council for the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology. Dr. Grigorian received her medical training at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She then completed her residency and fellowship in cardiology at the University Hospital of Vigo, followed by a research fellowship at the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and an interventional cardiology fellowship at the Marañón General University Hospital in Madrid. Dr. Grigorian's clinical expertise is primarily focused on general cardiology, preventive cardiology, and interventional cardiology. She spends 70% of her time on clinical practice and the remaining 30% on research and teaching activities. She has authored over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has an H-index of 32. She has also written over 20 book chapters. Dr. Grigorian has received numerous awards for her work in cardiology, including the Malaniak Prize for Excellence in Postdoctoral Research.
