Biography

Dr. Yves Charron is an IVF Laboratory Director at the Center for Reproductive Medicine, Kinderwunschärzte Berlin GbR and an ESHRE Certified Senior Clinical Embryologist. 

Dr. Charron's professional skills include:

IVF-Technics: Oocyte pick-up, IVF/ICSI, TESE, oocyte- and PN-scoring, culture of embryos and blastocysts, 2PN cryopreservation and thawing, vitrification/warming, embryo scoring, embryos transfer, Assisted Hatching, polar body, and Trophoectoderm biopsy.

Andrologie: Semen analysis, cryopreservation and thawing of gametes (sperm), sperm preparation for IVF/ICSI and insemination.

Hormonanalysis: Basic knowledges for the running of the hormone analyser Immulite 2000 XPi (Siemens)

Molecular biology: Generation of Drosophila transformant lines by micro-injection, generation of knock out and transgenic mouse lines, RNAi techniques, quantitative RT-PCR, in situ hybridization, Southern and Northern blot, in vitro transcription and translation, cloning.
