Biography

Dr. Tim Niehues is an accomplished medical professional with expertise in pediatrics, immunology, pediatric rheumatology, and pediatric oncology. He completed his medical studies at prestigious institutions in Germany, Ireland, and the United States. After obtaining his medical degree, he pursued a Postdoctoral Fellowship program in Molecular and Cellular Immunology at Cornell University and North Shore University Hospital of Manhasset, both located in the United States.

Dr. Niehues served as a Research Assistant and Senior Physician for 14 years at the University Children's Hospital of the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf, Germany, before becoming the Director of the Center for Child and Adolescent Medicine at Helios Hospital Krefeld in Germany. In addition, he holds the position of Professor of Pediatrics at the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf.

Dr. Niehues is an expert in the field of pediatric immunology and holds leadership positions as a Spokesman of the Working Group on Pediatric Immunology (AKPI) of the German Society for Immunology (DGfI) and an extraordinary member of the Medicines Commission of the German Medical Association (AKdÄ). He also provides special advisory in Infectious Diseases to the European Medicines Agency (EMA), Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Dr. Niehues has an impressive publication record, with over 370 publications to his credit.
