Dr. Thomas Müller is a specialist in neurology and has been the Head of the Department of Neurology at the Alexianer St Joseph Hospital in Berlin-Weißensee since 2007. He is one of the leading experts in the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. Dr. Müller's treatment focus is Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Complex Pain Disorders in the Field of Neurology, Spinal complaints, Dementia, and Restless legs syndrome (RLS). He performs intrathecal treatment of MS patients with triamcinolone, which improves maximum waking distance threefold if the patient responds.
Dr. Müller studied Human Medicine at the Ruhr University, Bochum, Essen University/Comprehensive Institute of Higher Education, and the Technical University of Munich. He completed a PhD at the Technical University of Munich with "Comparison of the Analgesic Effects of Tramadol and Tilidine – A Placebo-Controlled Double Study."
Dr. Müller is also active in scientific research. He has more than 480 publications and several books on the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
