Biography

Dr. Hellmig is a Professor of Internal Medicine and the Director of a large Department of Gastroenterology, Oncology, and General Internal Medicine at imland Clinic Rendsburg, Germany.

His clinical focus is set on advanced endoscopic techniques especially in the diagnosis and treatment of early-stage cancers in the upper and lower GI tract using NBI, EMR, and ESD. Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP procedures play a key role in the treatment of his patients. Moreover, Dr. Hellmig is engaged in the treatment of complex IBD patients by applying all approved biologicals in an outpatient clinic.
