Dr. Stefano Kim

Prof. Dr. Stefano Kim studied medicine at the Catholic University of Cordoba. After specializing in Internal Medicine at the Private Hospital Medical Center Cordoba, Dr. Kim moved to France and focused on Medical Oncology, first at the University Hospital of Strasbourg and then at Jean Minjoz University Hospital of Besancon. He later became the Head of Medical Oncology at North Franche-Comte Hospital, and associate professor at Bourgogne Franche-Comté University. At date, Dr. Kim is working as a Gastrointestinal Oncology referent in France and in Argentina, and he is internationally recognized in anorectal cancers, especially in novel immunotherapy combination treatments.

Dr. Kim is an author and co-author of more than 100 publications. He is an active member of the French Intergroup Scientific Committees in GI cancers and a member of the European Oncologic societies (ESMO, EORTC). Dr. Kim is also clinically active. He is a National coordinator, principal investigator, and sub-investigator in more than 100 clinical studies. Dr. Kim participated in the development of immunotherapy-combination treatment and the research in biomarkers and liquid biopsies.
