Dr. Sacha Rothschild studied at the Medical School of the University of Zurich. After completing residency programs and fellowships in General Internal Medicine, Radiation Oncology, and Medical Oncology, Dr. Rothschild became an Attending Physician and then a Senior Attending Physician in Medical Oncology at the University Hospital of Basel. He is currently the Head of the Center for Oncology/Hematology of Cantonal Hospital Baden.
Dr. Rothschild is also active in research and scientific activities. He is a Project Leader in Cancer Immunology and Biology at the University of Basel, Vice-President of the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research, Elected member of the Federal Drug Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health, and Director of Studies CAS Personalized Molecular Oncology at the University of Basel. Moreover, Dr. Rothschild is an Associated Editor for Thoracic Oncology at the Frontiers in Oncology.
