Dr. Philip Wintermeyer

Dr. Philip Wintermeyer is a specialist in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, Neonatology, and Pediatric Gastroenterology. He is specialized in Inflammatory bowel disease and Pediatric gastrointestinal endoscopy.

Dr. Philip Wintermeyer studied medicine in Germany (Witten/Herdecke University), Ethiopia (Addis Ababa School of Medicine), and the United States (Case Western Reserve University). Following his medical studies, Dr. Wintermeyer completed specialist training in Pediatrics, Pediatric Gastroenterology, and Neonatology at Children’s Hospital, HELIOS University Hospital, and Witten/Herdecke University. He later held the position of a Consultant in General Pediatrics, Pediatric Gastroenterology, and Neonatology at the University Hospital Erlangen and the University Hospital Munich. Presently, Dr. Wintermeyer owns a Private Clinic which is specialized in General Pediatrics, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Allergology, Sonography, and Endoscopy. Moreover, he is a Consultant at the Children’s Hospital of Technical University Munich and is an Assistant-Professor and Lecturer for Pediatrics at the same university.
