Dr. Anna Isayeva is a highly skilled cardiologist and rheumatologist with extensive experience in managing patients with a wide range of cardiovascular diseases and chronic non-communicable diseases. She is currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Cardiovascular Research Institute Basel in Switzerland and as the Head of the Department of Chronic Non-communicable Disease Prevention at the National Institute of Therapy named after L.T. Mala of NAMS in Ukraine.
Dr. Isayeva's clinical expertise includes managing hypertension, acute and chronic heart failure, stable coronary disease, acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, myocarditis, myocardiopathies, pericardium diseases, pulmonary hypertension, obesity, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, endocarditis, cardiovascular disease and pregnancy, thrombophilia, and thromboembolic disease. She also has experience in managing rheumatoid arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, dermatomyositis, systemic scleroderma, and Lyme disease.
Dr. Isayeva has an impressive educational background, with a Doctor of Medical Science in Cardiology from the National Institute of Therapy named after L.T. Mala of NAMS in Ukraine, a PhD in Fundamental Medicine from Kharkiv National University, and a Cardiology degree from Kharkiv Academy of Postgraduate Medical Education. Her MD is also from Kharkiv National University.
Dr. Isayeva is affiliated with the European Atherosclerosis Society and the European Society of Cardiology. She received the Best Oral Presentation award at the Ukrainian National Congress of Cardiology in 2016. Additionally, Dr. Isayeva has authored more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
