Dr. Sacha Rothschild

Dr. Sacha Rothschild is a highly accomplished medical professional and researcher in the field of oncology. He received his MD from the University of Zurich in 2003 and completed residency programs and fellowships in various fields of medicine, including general internal medicine, radiation oncology, and medical oncology. He worked as an attending physician and senior attending physician in medical oncology at the University Hospital of Basel before becoming the head of the Center for Oncology/H...ematology at the Cantonal Hospital Baden in 2022. Dr. Rothschild is also an active researcher and has published over 100 articles in the field of oncology. He is a project leader in cancer immunology and biology at the University of Basel and is affiliated with various medical associations, including the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research, the European Society for Medical Oncology, and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer. He is also an elected member of the Federal Drug Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health and serves as the director of studies for CAS Personalized Molecular Oncology at the University of Basel. Dr. Rothschild has received numerous awards for his research, including the Best Abstract Award and Best Oral Presentation at the Swiss Oncology and Hematology Congress and the Gateway for Cancer Research/Rising Tide Foundation for Clinical Cancer Research from the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research. He is also an associated editor for Thoracic Oncology at the Frontiers in Oncology journal.
