Dr. Norbert Hartkamp

Dr. Norbert Hartkamp is an accomplished professional with a distinguished career in the field of psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy. He has demonstrated leadership and expertise in various positions spanning over several decades. His journey began with the completion of his Medical Doctorate from Heinrich Heine University Duesseldorf in 1982. One of the leadership positions Dr. Hartkamp held was becoming the Chairman of the Institute for Analytical Group Psychotherapy and Group Dynamics... in Duesseldorf, Germany, a position he held from 2004 to 2011. During this time, he also served as the Chief Physician at the Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy at the Foundation Hospital Middle Rhine in Boppard, Germany, from 2005 to 2011. Following his tenure at the Institute, Dr. Hartkamp became the Managing Director at the Institute for Analytical Group Psychotherapy and Group Dynamics in Duesseldorf, Germany, from 2011 to 2017. Simultaneously, he held the role of a lecturer in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy at Heinrich Heine University in Duesseldorf between 2012 and 2017. From there, he expanded his horizons as he established a private practice in Solingen, Germany, specializing in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, where he has been serving from 2012 onwards. He also co-founded KLINDO GmbH in 2016, where he currently serves as the Managing Director. Throughout his career, Dr. Hartkamp actively engaged in various professional associations, showcasing his commitment to advancing the field. He assumed the position of Deputy Federal Chairman in the Professional Association of Specialists in Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy in 2016. Additionally, he contributed to the field by serving on the Advisory Committee "Psychotherapy" for the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in North Rhine-Westphalia from 2016 onwards. Moreover, he has been a valued member of the Federal Board of the German Society for Psychosomatic Medicine and Medical Psychotherapy since 2015 and has held the position of Chairman for the North Rhine-Westphalia Regional Association of the German Society for Psychosomatic Medicine since 2012.
