Dr. Amirhossein Mahdavian is a highly experienced and skilled pediatric neurology consultant who has worked in various medical institutions across Sweden. He received his MD degree from the Iran University of Medical Sciences in 1992 and completed his subspecialty in Pediatric Neurology at Uppsala University in 2008. Dr. Mahdavian's professional journey in Sweden began in 2001 when he joined Gavle Hospital as a Consultant in Pediatric Neurology. He served in this role until 2016, during which... he was also responsible for Pediatric Residency Education at the hospital from 2010 to 2014. From 2010 onwards, Dr. Mahdavian took on the role of Senior Consultant in Pediatric Neurology at the Habilitation Center Skåne, and later at the Habilitation Center Gothenburg from 2014 to 2018. Over the years, Dr. Mahdavian has developed extensive expertise in various subfields of pediatric neurology, including neuromuscular, neurometabolic, neurogenetic, neurodevelopmental, neurorehabilitation, and paroxysmal disorders such as epilepsy, migraine, and vertigo. Dr. Mahdavian is an active member of the Swedish Neuropediatric Association and the International Child Neurology Association.
