Docus continues its global mission to transform healthcare through AI by supporting both patients and providers with smarter tools and clearer insights.

Docus Enters Armenia’s Healthcare System

As is known, Docus is a US-based health tech startup. It operates globally as a leading platform for AI in healthcare that helps patients stay informed and aware of their health.

Docus is now officially part of Armenia’s healthcare system. The first local partner to adopt its AI-powered technology is Blood Cells, one of the country’s leading laboratory networks.

How the Platform Works

Docus introduces an intelligent laboratory data analysis and customer engagement software that helps people understand their test results in a simple and meaningful way. The purpose is to educate patients and guide them to the right care.

Once the test results are ready, patients gain access to their personal accounts on the Docus Platform, where they can view current and previous test results, including highlighted abnormalities, biomarker trends, and lab test interpretation reports.

The interpretation report is a comprehensive summary created by Docus AI models trained on vast amounts of medical data, such as international clinical guidelines, scientific publications, and peer-reviewed studies. The system highlights abnormal values, tracks changes over time, and provides personalized recommendations. Patients are guided on which specialists to consult and whether additional testing may be needed.

During the implementation process, Docus fully adhered to Armenia’s data privacy laws and local regulations. All personal and medical data are encrypted and stored securely, following best practices for data protection and medical confidentiality.

Support and Future Plans

The project is supported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, which acknowledges the importance of responsible AI use in healthcare.

“… I deeply believe that these tools serve as supportive aids for doctors and individuals, helping them manage their healthcare needs and be more informed about their health,” said RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan.

Docus plans to expand this system globally to support early detection, personalized care, and improved communication between doctors and patients.
