Biography

Dr. Yazan Abuodeh is a highly experienced Radiation Oncologist with expertise in various treatment techniques, including Linac-based SRS, SBRT, VMAT, IMRT, Tomotherapy, IGRT, 3DCRT, volumetric-based HDR brachytherapy. He is also skilled in SpaceOAR injection and fiducial placement for prostate cancer patients.

Dr. Abuodeh's educational background includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Jordan, an Internship at Prince Hamzeh Hospital in Jordan, and a Radiation Oncology Residency at the King Hussein Cancer Center, where he served as Chief Resident from 2011-2012. He also completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico, worked as a Clinical Instructor in Radiation Oncology at the King Hussein Cancer Center in Jordan from 2012-2013, and completed a Radiation Oncology Residency at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute from 2014-2018, where he served as Chief Resident from 2017-2018.

Dr. Abuodeh's work experience includes serving as a Radiation Oncologist at Central Care Cancer Center, Tammy Walker Cancer Center from 2018-2020, and currently as the Director of the Radiation Department and Radiation Oncologist at Salina Regional Health Center, Tammy Walker Cancer Center since 2020.

Dr. Abuodeh has received several honors and awards for his work, including the "Best of 2016" award from the Annals of Oncology for his clinical outcomes research on melanoma brain metastases treated with different therapies. He also won the Moffitt Scientific Symposium Poster Award in 2016 and the International Development and Educational Award "IDEA" from ASCO in 2012.

Dr. Abuodeh is an active member of professional associations, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO). He has published over 60 publications in his field, highlighting his expertise in radiation oncology.
