Dr. Simul Parikh studied medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, United States. He furthered his training by completing a residency program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Later, after a position as a Radiation Oncologist at Associates In Radiation Medicine, he became a Medical Director at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he started a breast multi-disciplinary clinic in conjunction with a surgeon, medical oncologist, and navigation team. He also specialized in the treatment of tumors of the lung, breast, gastrointestinal tract, head and neck, and palliative care. At the Cancer Center, Dr. Parikh was a palliative radiation section chief responsible for creating intra-network guidelines for palliative treatments. Afterward, he moved to MultiCare Health and became a Director of radiation oncology at 3 hospital-based centers in South Puget Sound.
Dr. Parikh is currently a Director of radiation oncology at Lake Huron Medical Center and Garden City Hospital, where he also leads the tumor board. Dr. Parikh is skilled in all modern radiation oncology techniques - IMRT/VMAT, IGRT, SGRT, SRS/SBRT, 3DCRT, and brachytherapy.
