Dr. Marco Siano received his medical degree from the University of Zurich in Switzerland. His main areas of focus are the tumors of the upper respiratory tract (head and neck, including thyroid and lung tumors), skin tumors, and modern immunotherapies together with hematology. Breast cancer and rare tumors complete his knowledge.
Dr. Siano is currently a Chief Physician of the Swiss Cancer Services AG / Seeland Cancer Center, Hirslanden Klinik Linde. Before this position, he was the Head of the Interdisciplinary Cancer Service at Riviera-Chablais Hospital. Dr. Siano was a Disease Leader for Head and Neck Cancer and Thyroid Cancer from 2009 to 2018 and a Disease Leader for Skin Cancers and Melanoma from 2012 to 2018.
Dr. Siano is a member of numerous national and international scientific societies and associations. He is a Founding Member and Board Member of the Swiss Head and Neck Society and the President of the Head and Neck Cancer Working Group. Moreover, Dr. Siano is a Senior faculty member of the College of the European School of Oncology.
