Dr. Majed Dawd

Dr. Majed Dawd has a diverse professional experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. He started his career as a resident doctor at El-Zahrawi Hospital in Damascus, Syria, in 2009, and then moved on to become a resident doctor at Al-Assad University Hospital in Latakia, Syria, from 2009 to 2014. Subsequently, Dr. Dawd worked as a Reproductive Health Manager at International Medical Corps (IMC) in Antakya, Turkey, in 2015-2016, and as a Medical Referent at Medecins Du Monde (MdM) in Diyarbakir, Turkey, in 2016.

From 2016 to 2018, Dr. Dawd served as a Medical Coordinator/Gynecologist with TARGET Human Rights at the Higher Obstetrics Hospital in Afar Zone 2, Ethiopia. After that, he moved to Germany and started working as an Assistant Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Clinics in Southeast Bavaria from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Dr. Dawd is working as a Gynecologist at Hufeland Clinic in Bad Langensalza, Thuringia.

In terms of education, Dr. Dawd graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Aleppo, Syria, as a Medicine doctor in 2008. He also obtained a Master of Obstetrics & Gynecology degree from Tishreen University, Syria, in 2015.

Dr. Dawd has extensive surgical experience in various areas of obstetrics and gynecology. He has performed breast operations, including breast cancer operation, aesthetic breast surgery, breast augmentation, and breast reduction. He also has experience in abdomen wall plastic surgery, minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy), hysterectomies (abdominal, vaginal, laparoscopy), prolapse operation, labia plastic surgery, hysteroscopy, cervix conization, vaginal delivery and episiotomy, cesarean section, dilatation and curettage, and defibrillation.
