Dr. Krishna Agarwal

Dr. Krishna Agrawal is a highly accomplished medical professional with extensive education and training in Nephrology. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, India.

Dr. Agrawal completed his postdoctoral training from 2014-2022, which included a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Transplant Immunology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Baystate Medical Center, and Fellowships in Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Currently, Dr. Agrawal is working as a Transplant Nephrologist at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. He has also held various professional appointments at hospitals and affiliated institutions, including serving as a Per-diem Internist at Baystate Medical Center from 2020-2022.

Dr. Agrawal is an active member of several professional societies, including the Indian Medical Association, Indian Medical Association of New England, American Society of Nephrology, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and Massachusetts Medical Society.

He has also been recognized for his contributions to the field with various honors and prizes, including the KidneySTARS Award, AST Fellows Symposium Award, Distinguished Medical Achievement Award, Fellowship of NKF (FNKF), Fellowship of ASN (FASN), Campbell Fellow Award, and Fellowship of ACP (FACP).

Dr. Agrawal has been actively involved in editorial activities, serving as an ad hoc reviewer for several medical journals, including the American Journal of Case Reports, Annals of Internal Medicine, British Medical Journal (BMJ), Journal of General Internal Medicine, and PLOS ONE. He has also authored more than 45 publications in various medical journals.
