Prof. Dr. med. Hendrik Wolff is a specialist in Radiation Therapy, Radiation Oncology, and Palliative Care. He is currently a Shareholder and the Head of Radiation Therapy at Radiologie München, Germany. Prof. Dr. med. Wolff has also undertaken an additional position as the Head of Radiation Therapy and the "Munich Support Center" at the Schwabing Clinic in Munich, Germany.
Before the current appointments, Prof. Dr. med. Wolff was the Deputy Director and the Managing Senior Physician at the Department of Radiation Therapy and Radiation Oncology of the University Hospital Göttingen, Germany.
Prof. Dr. med. Wolff's scientific works since the license to teach was granted include: Various planning studies on the correlation of radiotherapy technology to acute and chronic side effects and the therapy outcome, Research on the importance of different gene variants in the treatment of rectal ca, Investigation of the importance of various clinical and tumor-specific parameters in rectal ca, Development of a score/size classification in the hyperthermia treatment of breast cancer recurrences, Investigation of various clinical and biological factors in the treatment of ENT tumors, Investigations on the correlation of therapy-associated side effects and outcome parameters in different tumor entities, Acute effect of radiation on cardiomyocytes, Studies on the treatment of nasopharynx Ca including the governing body of the GPOH-NPC study group, Supervision and successful completion of 20 doctoral theses.
