Dr. Frank-Michael Mueller

Prof. Dr. Frank-Michael Mueller is a specialist in Pediatrics with a focus on Allergy, Pulmonology, Infectious Diseases, Immunology, and Neonatology. He studied medicine at the University of Luebeck in Germany after which he completed an internship and residency programs at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and RWTH Aachen University. He later took the position of a Senior Consultant in Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy, and Infectious Diseases and then was appointed as the Head of the Department of Pediatrics. Currently, Dr. Mueller is the Head of Pediatricum Heidelberg specializing in Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy & Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Mueller has over 40 original peer-reviewed publications, 12 publications as a first author, and 20 as a senior author, 20 invited reviews, and more than 120 congress abstracts. He is an active member of medical and scientific societies such as the German Society for Pediatric Allergology, the Society for Pediatric Pneumology (GPP), and the German-Austrian Society for Neonatology, and Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine.
