Dr. Florian Zapf

Dr. Florian Zapf studied medicine at the Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg, Germany. After completing medical training in Pediatrics, Pediatric and Adult Intensive Care Medicine, and Anaesthesia both in Germany and Switzerland, Dr. Zapf became a Consultant at the Department of Paediatric Intensive Care/Neonatology of the University Children’s Hospital Zurich in Switzerland. During this period, he completed a fellowship at the Department for Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine of the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne in Australia.

Dr. Zapf's focus of interests includes Pain, Sedation, Delirium, and Withdrawal Management. He is skilled in CPR, ECPR, ECMO, Airway Management (e.g., Intubation, Laryngeal Mask, Facemask), Difficult Airway Management, Bronchoscopy, Point of Care Ultrasound, Peripheral and Central venous and arterial access, Lumbar puncture, and Thoracic/Abdominal Drain Placement.
