Dr. Eva Munoz Couselo

Dr. Eva Munoz Couselo is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in the field of oncology. She is currently the Head of Melanoma and Other Skin Tumors at the Vall d'Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus in Barcelona, Spain, a position she has held since 2016. Prior to this, she served as an Attending Physician at the same hospital from 2010 and was a Resident in Medical Oncology from 2006 to 2010.

Dr. Munoz Couselo's education includes an MD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, completed in 2011, with a unanimous "cum laude" distinction, for her doctoral thesis on breast cancer, "Re-treatment with non-pegylated liposomal anthracycline in patients with metastatic breast cancer who have previously received treatment with conventional anthracyclines." She earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 2005 and, in 2020, completed an Expert in Health Management program at the Menendez Pelayo International University.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Munoz Couselo is an active member of several professional organizations, including serving as Treasurer of the Spanish Melanoma Group since 2017. She is also a member of the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology, the Spanish Breast Cancer Group, and the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer. She is a full member of the Academy of Medical Sciences and Health of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.
