Dr. Enrico Chiappa

Dr. Enrico Chiappa is a Consultant in Fetal and Pediatric Cardiology at Koelliker Hospital in Turin, Italy. He obtained his MD from the University of Pisa and a Degree of Specialist in Cardiology from the Cardiovascular Institute at the Medical University of Turin. Dr. Chiappa has extensive experience in his field, having held various positions such as Pediatric Cardiology Consultant and Director at the Department of Pediatrics in the University Hospital Meyer in Florence, and Honorary Consultant in Fetal and Pediatric Cardiology at the Tuscany Region - National Research Center Foundation "Gabriele Monasterio" in Massa, Italy.

Throughout his career, Dr. Chiappa has also been a visiting fellow in Paediatric Echocardiography at Moffit Hospital, University of San Francisco in the United States, and in Fetal Cardiology at the Fetal Unit of Guy's & St Thomas Hospital Trust in London, United Kingdom. He has authored more than 70 publications, reflecting his expertise in the field of fetal and pediatric cardiology.

Dr. Chiappa is affiliated with various professional societies, including the Italian Society of Paediatric Cardiology (SICP), where he previously held the position of Treasurer and General Secretary, the Association of European Paediatric Cardiology (AEPC), the Italian Society of Cardiovascular Echocardiography, and the National Association of Hospital Cardiologists. In recognition of his contributions, he was named a Distinguished Expert of Women and Children’s Health Care Hospital in Lin Yi, Shandon, Republic of China, in 2013.
