Dr. Andre Mansinho

Dr. André Mansinho is currently a medical oncologist at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte, Portugal. He is also responsible for coordinating the oncology clinical trials team. Furthermore, Dr. Mansinho is an Assistant Professor of Oncobiology in the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon Academic Medical Centre, Portugal, and is a clinical researcher on the translational oncology investigation team in the Luís Costa Lab at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular – João Lobo Antunes, Portugal.

Dr. Mansinho has done his medical studies at Nova Medical School, Portugal, and completed his residency in medical oncology at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte, Portugal. He also completed a fellowship in early phase clinical trials at the South Texas Accelerated Research Therapeutics Institute in Spain.

Dr. Mansinho is involved in numerous international and local clinical trials (phase 1–3) and was the Principal Investigator for several protocols. He is an active member of a number of scientific societies including the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Portuguese Society of Oncology (SPO). Dr. Mansinho has authored and co-authored more than 10 book chapters and has more than 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals including the Annals of Oncology and the International Journal of Molecular Sciences.
